Privacy
This policy covers the oximail.ch marketing website only. The OxiMail software itself runs on infrastructure you control — we never see your mailboxes, your files, or your users’ data.
Who we are
The data controller for this website is Activate sàrl, Geneva, Switzerland. For any privacy question, contact us via the contact form or at the address in our legal notice.
What we collect
Two things, and nothing else. What you actively submit through a form on this site: your name, email, organisation, and the contextual fields of that form (role, country, sector, deployment size, timeline, message). We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or behavioural cookies on this site. And a server log entry for each page served, described below.
Why we use it
Solely to answer your request — a commercial evaluation, a partner application, a pilot enrolment, or a general enquiry. We do not use it for unrelated marketing and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, then we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
Under the Swiss FADP and the EU GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and object to its processing. Contact us and we will action it.
Server logs
Two logs exist, and they treat your IP address differently. Browsing this site writes one line per page served — date, page, response code, user-agent, referring page — with your IP masked before it is written down: the last two bytes of an IPv4 address, everything after the network prefix of an IPv6 one. That is enough to tell visitors roughly apart and not enough to identify you. Submitting a form writes a second line that does record your full IP address, because that is what lets us rate-limit and recognise automated abuse against the form itself. Both are kept for thirty days, on our own server: no analytics service, no tag, no third party involved.
Hosting
This website and its form endpoints are hosted on infrastructure under our control in Europe. Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS.
This is a plain-language summary. It is provided as a starting template and should be reviewed against your final legal requirements before launch.
